Tuition and financial aid

For reference, note that dietetic interns are enrolled as full-time Iowa State University graduate students, thus, they must complete 15 graduate credits. All interns complete a Summer semester and either a Spring or Fall semester.

Financial aid

Most dietetic interns are eligible for applicable financial aid and/or loan deferment. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for Federal Direct Stafford Loans. Stipend

There is no stipend paid to dietetic interns, but you may be eligible for financial aid and/or loan deferment, as stated above.

Note:

  • Fees for Prior Assessed Learning (PAL) credits are identical to that of the course fees and tuition.
  • All interns complete a Summer semester and either a Spring or Fall semester, which totals 15 graduate credits.
